I had a video EEG here recently and it was a very good experience. Especially considering I had no idea what to expect going into it. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The Neurology unit and nurses were all great.

My experience at Memorial was wonderful! I don’t know how they ended up with a 2 star rating, but all I know is that the nurses really treated me with respect and as a patient. I would like to acknowledge the ladies who were very helpfully, supportive, nice their names were Emily and Naidee. There were nurses who were also in the room, even though I didn’t get their names they made feel so comfortable. I also would like to thank the front desk lady Carla!

So....I was coming down my steps and came down on my right leg all wrong. The only way I can describe it is it felt like a HORRIBLE ECHOING CHARLIE HORSE from my hip all the way to my foot. I took some advil, propped up my leg and thought I would be able to get back to chores in the morning. I woke up and could not move my right leg without excruciating pain. All I can say is, thank God for Memorial. From the ambulance ride to the end, all staff were professional, empathetic and kind. In addition, I observed the security as well as intake staff while waiting and they appeared very well organized and efficient -like a well oiled machine. I was thoroughly impressed with every single staff member that I encountered, but what stood out most was their bedside manner. Even the radiologist, while professional, was outstanding in this regard. It's obvious that the staff is not new to this, but true to this. Keep up the great work!

I just had open heart surgery full open heart I had a valve replaced. And every single one of the nurses doctors and employees there acted above board unbelievably professional and kind. I've never in my life experienced the kind of love from a hospital that have experienced here. They were $140,000% on top of their game every time I needed something I got it they were there every day all day making sure I took my walks making sure I had my pain medication my heart medication. If you listen to what these wonderful people tell you they will fix what's wrong with you if they can. I not only had my expectations blown but there were things that they cared on me that I never have to worry about anymore or my family. Things that plague my mind for a long time and it kept me from a good career. I hope somebody reads this cuz these people deserve a little respect and love. I'm going to put a list of people on here that took care of me I consider them angels. Nobody lost their patience with me everybody treated me with a kind hand and made sure I was all good. I've read some of these reviews and I think I can read between the lines here and see what's really wrong with folks. But this hospital doesn't deserve a 2.8. and the doctor's positions and employees sure as hell don't. After I came here and seen this review I realize I'm not just going to write a review I'm going to have to call somebody a news station. Or something cuz I owe my life to these people and I wouldn't be alive much longer if it wasn't for them. The people up there are the best and I'll never forget them I'll never forget their names or their faces. And I'll never forget the stories we exchanged. I want to thank these amazing folks by name so here goes first of all to my heart surgeon William Stevens your magic hands saved my life thank you so much for giving me a second chance God bless your heart ❤️🌹. Katie from the heart team I couldn't have done it without you God bless your heart ❤️🌹!. These folks com

I am writing this review specifically for a nurse named Olivia who works on 6E IMC floor at Memorial Hospital. My father in law has been in and out of the hospital since December when he suffered a stroke. On his most recent visit here we have been very lucky to have Olivia taking care of him the majority of the time he has been here. She is absolutely wonderful. Her work ethic is above and beyond. She truly cares about her patients and it shows. She has taken such good care of my father in law which has been such a huge relief to our family during this difficult time. I just can’t say enough good things about her. If you or your family are lucky enough to have her as your nurse you will know what I mean. Thank you Olivia from the bottom of our hearts.
